Inside Sales Specialist
CaroTrans is a logistics company seeking a high-energy Inside Sales Representative to join their growing team. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify new sales leads through cold calling, networking, and industry research
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to understand their supply chain needs
Negotiation: Quote competitive rates and negotiate contracts with shippers and carriers to ensure profitable margins
Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless shipment execution and customer satisfaction
CRM Management: Keep accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM
Qualification
Required
Excellent Communication: You are a 'people person' who can explain complex logistics solutions clearly and persuasively over the phone and via email
Resilience: You have a 'thick skin' for cold calling and the drive to hit (and exceed) monthly sales targets
Detail Oriented: You can manage multiple shipments and quotes simultaneously without breaking a sweat
Preferred
Bilingual Skills (Required/Preferred): Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and carrier network
Logistics Experience: Previous experience in 3PL, freight forwarding, or transportation is a major plus
