Responsibilities

Proactively build and nurture relationships through personal visits, calls, and strategic networking
Meet or exceed revenue and sales goals by matching customer needs with appropriate product solutions
Generate leads through industry relationships and events
Prepare proposals, quotes, and ensure proper follow-up for all opportunities
Deliver consistent, positive customer experiences and support
Represent the company at tradeshows and other industry events
Review and interpret customer specifications to determine appropriate Flood Barrier solutions
Gather information for quotes, drawings, installations, and invoicing
Respond swiftly to customer inquiries and troubleshoot credit, delivery, or installation issues
Maintain excellent post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
Negotiate customer terms while prioritizing company interests
Schedule and conduct onsite customer visits as required
Travel regularly (some weekends included); flexible hours as needed

Required

Previous sales experience, ideally with general contractors or related fields
Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, management, or related area
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with architects and engineers
Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly
Solid understanding of the construction industry, including blueprint reading and specification interpretation
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time-management
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Preferred

Direct sales experience in flood-protection products
Engineering degree
Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation
