Responsibilities
Data driven decision making
Engineering design methodologies and best practices
Advanced analytical techniques and best practices
Multiple aspects of Design Control relating to Engineering, Requirements, Risk Management, Detailed Design, Prototyping, Integration, Testing and Release
This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in engineering projects, applying classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree (enrolled student)
Must be pursuing a Master's degree (enrolled student)
Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student)
Required Majors: Systems engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Computer Science, Cell & Molecular Biology, Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, Neuroscience, Physiology, Microbiology, Computational Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or any science/engineering related discipline
Familiarity with searching technical literature
Basic knowledge of and ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, graphical and presentation software applications
Understanding of basic systems engineering techniques and principles
Ability to follow detailed directions and learn from supervision
An interest in increasing quality and promoting a 'Quality First Time' mindset
Preferred
Entry level; prior internship or coursework in science or engineering preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
