Responsibilities
Support new and renewal underwriting tasks for stop loss underwriting
Download Requests for Proposal (RFP) from email daily
Review RFP documentation to ensure that required information is received
Input information into underwriting database
Create and organize electronic files
Rework census data in Excel and input census information into underwriting system
Check the file for accuracy and completeness and route it to the appropriate Senior Underwriting Assistant in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel – Intermediate level
Strong math aptitude and analytical skills
Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity
Ability to work independently but also support a team environment
Preferred
Bachelors' Degree, Finance or Accounting preferred or relative experience
