Friendwell Group of Companies is seeking a reliable individual to join their team as a Hotel Engineer. The role involves maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel, including guest rooms and public areas, while performing various repair and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non functioning machinery and/or equipment
Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work, masonry, etc
Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention

Required

Shifts would be 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm daily
Availability to work Holidays and weekends are a must
Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Strong understanding of the technologies used and required
React quickly in emergency situations, making sound decisions
Flexible availability
Able to lift 50 pounds or more
Able to operate heavy machinery
Combination of vocational education, apprenticeship, in-plant training, or on-the-job training required

Preferred

Licenses a plus
Degree a plus
Previous hotel engineering experience a plus
