Responsibilities
Participate in end-to-end incident response investigations on Windows and Linux environments
Continuously monitor and evaluate cyber threat trends, vulnerabilities, and attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
Participate in purple teaming exercises using offensive security tools (e.g., Breach and Attack Simulation platforms) to strengthen defensive capabilities
Proactively perform threat hunting and develop custom detection rules to improve visibility
Analyze and fine-tune logs, events, and alerts within SIEM and other monitoring platforms
Support the design and validation of secure system configurations based on CIS Benchmarks and other hardening standards
Document and test cybersecurity incident response runbooks and playbooks to support effective incident handling
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices into projects and daily operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or a relevant field
2+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or SIEM management
Exposure to securing operating systems, including both Windows and Linux
Experience with security monitoring and log analysis tools
One or more certifications, ideally: GCFE, GCIH, GCIA, GCED, GCWN, GMON, GCUX, GCDA
