Responsibilities
Define and drive the design vision for all Protax products, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience that aligns with business goals
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented product designers. Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities
Partner with the Product Management team to conduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to deeply understand user needs and pain points
Oversee the entire design process, from wireframing and prototyping to high-fidelity mockups and interaction design
Work closely with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure designs are feasible, delivered on time, and meet product requirements
Champion and manage our design system, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
At least 5-7 years of experience in product design
A strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of successful product design and leadership
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a design team
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate design decisions to stakeholders
Preferred
Experience in the fintech, tax, or accounting software industry is a significant plus
