Regional Sales Manager (Mid-West Region)
NICOR Lighting is a leading company in high-performance lighting technology, and they are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-West region. The role involves driving sales, developing customer relationships, and managing product specifications to support project wins.
Responsibilities
Develop and grow relationships with new and existing customers
Drive sales through independent manufacturer representatives and distributors
Position NICOR products at the forefront of the market through strategic engagement
Manage and influence product specifications to support project wins
Lead and support new product launches within your region
Collaborate cross-functionally to meet sales, profitability, and growth targets
Represent NICOR with professionalism, consistency, and attention to detail
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in the lighting industry or electrical field (required; candidates without this experience will not be considered)
Demonstrated success in sales, business development, or account management
Strong understanding of manufacturer representative and distributor sales channels
Ability to build and maintain long-term, trust-based customer relationships
Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented work style
High ethical standards and a solutions-first approach to challenges
Preferred
Experience managing regional or territory-based sales
Familiarity with product specification processes and project-driven sales
Experience in supporting or launching new products into the market
Comfort presenting technical products to varied audiences
