Perform servo tuning and optimize motion control algorithms
Create AutoCAD electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layouts
Develop ladder logic for proprietary and industry control systems
Author engineering procedures and documentation for servo systems
Support startup and troubleshooting in development and production environments
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering, or Motion Control Engineering
2+ years experience in a design/build/test engineering role
Experience specifying electrical components for motion control systems (servo drives, motors, contactors)
Experience with servo tuning and motion control optimization
Ability to generate AutoCAD electrical schematics and cabinet layouts
Experience writing ladder logic for industrial control systems
Preferred
Experience with motion control systems and servo drive/motor integration
AC and DC electro-mechanical design experience
Experience with proprietary control platforms in addition to industry-standard controls
Experience supporting equipment startup and troubleshooting in development and production environments
Experience writing engineering procedures and technical documentation for servo systems
