Clyde & Co is a global law firm specializing in insurance, transportation, energy, and more. The Insurance Coverage Associate will represent domestic insurers by providing coverage advice and handling litigation involving commercial general liability and excess policies.

Responsibilities

Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients

Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda

Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage litigation

Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties

Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations

Take a proactive role in managing matters, deadlines, and communication with clients

Required

3-9 years of experience in insurance coverage and coverage litigation

Excellent academic credentials

Effective problem-solving skills

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
