NYC Sales Manager

John Pomp is a company that designs inspiring, unique, masterfully hand-crafted furniture and lighting. They are seeking an NYC Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth, cultivating client relationships, and enhancing the brand's presence in the New York market.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth and sales within NYC by cultivating a consistent pipeline and developing and creating strong relationships with clients
Develop and expand our network of trade accounts, with a strong emphasis on acquiring new accounts and increasing John Pomp’s brand presence and specification on key residential and commercial projects
Drive outside sales in NYC by proactively securing, leading, and closing in-person client meetings—including design firm visits, studio appointments, and gallery presentations—with designers and architects
Leverage an established AD 100 and broader A&D book of business to drive new and existing clients into the NYC Flagship Showroom—hosting tours, events, meetings, and trainings that deepen relationships and secure ongoing project specifications for John Pomp in the NYC market
Position John Pomp Studios as the preferred design partner by offering product education, brand storytelling, and exceptional service
Generate and manage quotes, leads, and orders in the company's CRM system, collaborating with the NYC sales team as needed
Deliver physical samples to clients (via courier or in-person visits), reinforcing the luxury and tailored service experience
Stay continuously up to date on all product lines, new releases, and brand initiatives, representing John Pomp as a knowledgeable and confident ambassador
Consistently work toward and exceed individual and team sales goals in alignment with company growth objectives
Demonstrate high level of ownership of the NYC showroom space, ensuring it is presented and maintained to the highest level
Collaborate with Leadership on coordination of showroom refreshes, installs, and photoshoots
Collaborate with and support the Executive team and Marketing department on trade events, cocktail hours, and designer visits hosted in the NYC showroom
