Responsibilities
Assist in the management of onboarding, employee benefits programs, workers comp, and leave of absence
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
Facilitate employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a positive work culture
Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and support workforce planning initiatives
Support policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Contribute to the development and execution of HR projects and initiatives aligned with organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role with higher education preferred
Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
