Data Product Manager, Re:Cycle Reverse Logistics
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. The Operations Integration team is seeking a detail-oriented Data Product Manager to improve data captured from warehouse management and inventory allocation systems, ensuring accurate reporting and stakeholder training for new capabilities.

Responsibilities
Collaborating closely with data consumers and stakeholders across the organization and service providers to define and drive alignment for new/updated reporting capabilities
Developing supporting documents (e.g. data flow diagrams, sample data files, schemas, business requirement documents) that specify design features and logic, as well as un/happy path expectations to drive feature development
Preparing positive and negative new feature test scenarios and facilitating acceptance testing to ensure new feature quality in test environments, documenting acceptance test KPIs to drive internal metrics
Planning and executing stakeholder training events to ensure successful rollout and adoption upon implementation
Conducting post-launch validations and refinement (as needed) to ensure final product accuracy and drive last-mile adoption
Managing ticket queues, prioritization, and tradeoffs for strategic data developments, ensuring stakeholders are always synchronized in developing the next big thing
Conduct regular data warehouse and organizational reporting research, present findings to identify areas to continuously improve reporting capabilities
Executing data migration/update strategies to transition between previous and new reporting solutions
Maintaining data warehouse/library resources and policies
Qualification
Required
2+ years of data enablement, data engineering, data management, or related experience in a warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing, or reverse logistics environment
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related, or 4+ additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree
2+ years with one or more query language (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL)
2+ years using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
Preferred
Experience planning and developing end-to-end systems data architecture and/or reporting solutions
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and/or building ETL pipelines using AWS cloud tools
Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksite, etc.) in developing insightful dashboards to share data with a variety of stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for details
Strong verbal and written communication skills to translate complex problems and design solutions using non-technical terms
Experience managing a 3rd party vendor
