Citadel Security USA is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial operations within a growing private security organization. This position works closely with the Controller and plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring consistent financial reporting across the organization.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses

Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations

Review and reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports

Assist with internal and external audits

Support state sales tax filings and payroll accrual preparation

Assist with acquisition-related accounting, including integration and consolidated reporting

Utilize Sage Intacct and project accounting tools for reporting and analysis

Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and financial controls

Collaborate with leadership to support financial reporting and operational decision-making

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

3 - 4 or more years of progressive accounting experience

Previous Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience

Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes

Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF functions

Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills

High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred

Experience with Sage Intacct and project accounting
