Responsibilities

Sets up and installs computer hardware/software/peripherals for staff workstations and general use systems. Updates, troubleshoots and resolves problems

Assists staff with VPN/RDP connectivity. Assists staff with virtual/hybrid meeting equipment

Monitors and maintains consumable supplies and related equipment. Cleans and replaces equipment as needed

Operates and maintains IMAX theatre systems, including IMAX and auxiliary a/v systems

Assists the IT staff in other responsibilities related to building-wide IT functions

Required

Two (2) years in a customer service position, of which at least one year must be experience or formal education in a computer-related hardware, software or similar technical field

Knowledge of basic computer hardware including internal components

Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications

Skills and abilities to work under minimal supervision, completing assigned tasks on time and according to recurring schedules

Skills and abilities to work in highly stressful and time-critical situations, maintaining a high degree of professionalism in conduct and interaction with all staff and patrons

Creativity, problem solving and attention to detail

Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely
