Atrium is partnering with a leading construction company specializing in commercial and residential projects across the region. They are currently expanding and looking to add an Accounts Receivable Manager to their team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.

Responsibilities

Manage the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations
Prepare and submit progress billings and AIA documentation in accordance with project contracts
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
Work closely with project managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements
Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable process
Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and performance for senior management

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of progress billing and AIA documentation
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proven leadership and team management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

Preferred

Experience with construction accounting software, such as Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate or Procore
Familiarity with lien waivers
Knowledge of state and federal construction regulations and compliance requirements
