Assistant District Attorney - 21st Judicial District
The Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference is seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant District Attorney to join the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office. This role offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful public service through criminal prosecution while developing strong courtroom and litigation skills.
Responsibilities
Criminal prosecution of assigned cases
Legal research and legal writing
Trial preparation and courtroom advocacy
Motion practice and hearings
Plea negotiations and case resolution
Qualification
Required
Licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee
Law degree (JD)
Demonstrated interest in criminal law
Preferred
Prior courtroom experience
Prior prosecution or trial experience
5–13 years of legal experience
