The Senior Staff Factory Automation Engineer will serve as a technical lead in designing and supporting factory automation equipment interfaces, while implementing new applications and technologies to enhance automation processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation equipment interface solutions for controlling semiconductor factory equipment using SECS/GEM and GEM300 protocols

Integrate automation solutions to 3rd party support systems such as Automatic Process Control (APC) or Fault Detection & Classification (FDC) within the factory

Identify and implement custom Automation rules for improving site metrics such as Automated Move Out %, Line Yield, rework etc

Troubleshoot automation and equipment issues from application and communication log files

Works with tool owners to identify and document equipment control strategies

Can work independently on complex problems and serve as top level support for junior engineers or technicians in the company

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field of study with 7 years manufacturing industry-related experience. Will consider additional years of experience in lieu of a degree

Develop and maintain automation equipment interface solutions for controlling semiconductor factory equipment

Experience automating 200mm semiconductor equipment

Experience developing on multiple software platforms & technologies. C#, C++, java, SQL or python

Project Management and technical documentation skills

US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship
