Office Assistant Gateway
Copa Health is seeking a full-time Office Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support at their facility. The role involves scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and collaborating with clinical staff to enhance patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities
Schedule member's appointments, ensures service tickets are in order
Collects and validates insurance information
Records no-show and appointment changes
Creates and maintains member charts
Compiles clinical information as requested
Collects, monitors, scans, and enters data/information into the electronic health records or as assigned
As receptionist greets, receives, and escorts participants to appointments as needed
Handles matters as directed
Maintains communications with the staff
Completes reminder calls to the participants regarding their appointments
To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department, consistent with Copa Health productivity levels
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
One (1) to three (3) years' experience in office clerical setting
Proficiency in typing, using computer software, i.e., EHR/EMR systems, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Internet is essential
Must complete training and demonstrate competence in Integrated Care skills
Must have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office applications
Satisfactory work records as determined by the People 1st
Successfully completes a pre-employment drug screening
Complete all on-boarding paperwork, in a timely manner and be cleared to attend New Employee Orientation (NEO), as scheduled
Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and any other required background checks
Ability to meet Copa's driver authorized driving requirements, set forth by Copa Health's insurance company. Including AZ Driver's license upon hire, 39-month MVR, proof of insurance and vehicle registration, if applicable
Preferred
