Develop detailed civil design plans for land development projects, including grading, drainage, roadways, and utility systems
Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) to create accurate and efficient design drawings and models
Collaborate with project teams to integrate design elements and ensure compatibility with overall project goals
Conduct site assessments and analyses to inform design decisions and address any potential issues
Prepare and review technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation
Ensure designs comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental standards
Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in civil engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil design, with a focus on land development projects
Proficiency in design software, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, land development processes, and regulatory requirements
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders
