PMO Leader
Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence. They are seeking a PMO Leader to establish and manage the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring successful delivery of strategic programs and projects while providing governance and oversight aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
Define and implement the vision, mission, and operating model of the PMO
Develop and enforce PMO policies, processes, and governance frameworks
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership regarding program priorities, risks, and resourcing
Supports the Project Engineering Division Key Personnel by providing oversight of the portfolio of projects ensuring alignment with organizational strategy
Establish performance metrics and reporting mechanisms for project delivery
Conduct regular reviews of program status, risks, and deliverables to ensure accountability and transparency
Optimize allocation of people, budget, and technology resources across programs
Partner with Finance and HR to manage staffing forecasts, budget planning, and cost control
Ensure efficient utilization of resources to achieve maximum ROI
Define and maintain standardized project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Provide tools, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency in delivery
Drive continuous improvement of project management processes
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of program/project managers
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation
Provide training and professional development opportunities for PMO staff and project managers across the enterprise
Qualification
Required
12+ years of progressive experience in project/program management, with significant experience leading PMOs or large portfolios
5 years of experience integrating and managing service management processes and procedures in a multi-vendor environment
PMP Certification or must be able to obtain certification within three months
Strong understanding of program/project management methodologies, governance, and tools
Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive change
U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance
Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred)
