Accounts Payable Manager

DynaFire is your comprehensive partner for all fire and life safety needs, and they are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead and supervise their Accounts Payable Team. The role involves ensuring timely processing of invoices, responding to vendor and employee inquiries, and overseeing the efficiency of accounts payable processes.

Facilities Support Services

Responsibilities

Develops processes to ensure vendor setup, credit card distribution and the flow of invoices is efficient
Supervises and oversees the team of Accounts Payable Assistants
Ensures all invoices are timely entered
Reviews and approves invoices in Stampli to be synced to Intacct the accounting software
Reviews all vendor onboarding and ensures W-9s, COIs and payment information is accurate
Timely response to vendor inquiries
Timely response to any employee related question regarding a vendor payment
Ensures new vendors are properly setup
Oversees the distribution of company issued credit cards and ensures employees questions and concerns are answered within 2 business hours
Receives and reconciles vendor statements to our internal AP records and develops a process to ensure any discrepancies are resolved timely
Prepares weekly batches for check runs to be approved by the Controller or CFO
Ensures employee expense reports are timely approved and submitted

Required

Must have 5 strong years of management and leadership experience in AP Role
Basic knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Job may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time to accomplish essential tasks
Ability to provide exceptional customer service to vendors and employees
