Assist higher-level techs and team leads in building out the infrastructure
Pull cable and fiber
Learn color codes, punch down and terminate fiber
Install cable trays and pathways
Build server racks
Qualification
Required
Entry-level cable technicians
Willing to relocate to Altoona, Iowa for a 6-month assignment
Assist higher-level techs and team leads in building out infrastructure
Pulling cable
Pulling fiber
Learning color codes
Learning how to punch down and terminate fiber
Installing cable trays and pathways
Building server racks
Punctual and team player
Able to be flexible on hours
Ability to work 10-12 hour days if needed
Ability to work 6 days a week
Preferred
2+ years of previous experience working with Fiber in a data center
