Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration
Collaborate with senior engineers to architect cloud-based data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure SQL
Integrate data from SAP ERP and other enterprise systems into modern cloud data platforms
Use Databricks and Apache Spark to process and optimize large-scale data workflows
Partner with business and analytics stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency
Support the creation of certified datasets, data models, reports, and dashboards for analytics and machine learning use cases
Apply data governance, security, and compliance best practices across data pipelines
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, performance, and workflow issues
Contribute to CI/CD processes for deploying and managing data workflows and infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related role
Hands-on experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Databricks
Strong SQL and Python skills for data engineering and pipeline development
Experience working with Azure Data Lake or similar cloud-based distributed storage solutions
Understanding of data modeling concepts, including star and snowflake schemas
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
Basic working knowledge of Apache Spark
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience integrating data from SAP ERP systems
Azure Data Engineering certification
Exposure to analytics or machine learning data use cases
