J&J Snack Foods is a leader and innovator in the snack food industry, providing branded snack foods to various outlets across the U.S. The Machine Operator Line Worker is responsible for the production of frozen novelty ice cream, including inspecting the quality of the final product and adhering to safety and food quality standards.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the production of frozen novelty ice cream

Making the product and running the vitaline machines based on the schedule provided by senior management

Standing for the entire shift the inspection of the popsicles, or cups, from a moving conveyer system, product fill, and inspect the seal on paper wraps, or lids

Must be capable of learning the product and company’s requirements of final product expectation

The Line Worker must be able to inspect, and work from a fast-moving conveyer system coming from filler machine for quality

This function may require lifting up to, and including, fifty pounds (50 lbs) throughout the shift

Adherence to Housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety and all other Company Rules and Policies

Inspecting the quality of the final product after filling

Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures

Responsible for food safety and quality
