The role involves maintaining and enhancing infrastructure technologies while providing escalated support to the Service Desk Tier I team.

Responsibilities
Provides escalated Tier 2 support for more advanced system problems
When necessary, provides IT support services to end-users with a focus on helping them achieve positive business results
Proactively identifies, resolves problems, and researches answers and provides resources to other IT team members and end-users
Maintains and supports the virtual server environment: VMWare, Hyper-V
Supports and maintains identity management products
Builds software images for office workstations, desktops, and laptops
Administers Active Directory and facilitates Group Policy management
Supports VMware Horizon VDI and Microsoft Remote Desktop, as well as VPN remote access capability
Travels to different Sound locations to troubleshoot, deliver, and set up servers and networking equipment
Provides content expert assistance to the Technology Department
Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned
Qualification
Required
A minimum of five years of advanced technical support is required
Proven customer or client service experience
Demonstrable skills with Windows operating systems
Experience supporting and administering Microsoft SCCM and Intune
Proven experience in Microsoft Active Directory environments
VMware ESX Experience required
Knowledgeable on SSO, SAML, MFA, and Okta
Experience in the following technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, SharePoint, IP routing, Ethernet LANs, Network Printing
Experience supporting mobile device management products
Experience utilizing industry best practices and products to address risks and situations found in modern computing environments
Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record required to provide occasional support to various locations
Must pass a criminal background check
Preferred
College degree in a related field preferred
Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable, but not required
