Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of a business development team focused on sourcing new revenue opportunities from inbound, upsell, and value-added services channels
Be a true servant-leader, with a commitment to recruiting top talent, coaching that talent to be as successful as possible, and ultimately helping team members reach their career goals
Conduct weekly one-on-ones with business development representatives to provide coaching and sales process development
Actively manage team key performance metrics and drive activity volume, pipeline generation, and meeting conversion rates as a way to meet company objectives and profitability/revenue goals
Evaluate tools and processes to ensure that business development representatives are efficient in completing their responsibilities
Work as part of the overall Business Development and Revenue Operations team to build, enrich, and leverage our database to drive increased team output
Join and review prospect calls to provide assistance and feedback/coaching
Work cross-functionally with teams such as marketing and product to train the business development representatives as a way to increase output and foster career development
Ensure close alignment with the other Sales Managers, Sales Consultants, and Customer Success Managers so that opportunity hand-off is efficiently executed

Required

2+ years of sales experience (SaaS experience preferred)
Strong leadership and coaching skills -- inspire employees and partners, resolve conflicts, and influence beneficial outcomes
A proven track record of exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual goals as an individual contributor, both in inbound and cold calling capacities
Superb people/collaboration skills -- able to prioritize and work cross-functionally, build trust and influence all levels of organization
Self-motivated and highly driven with excellent communication skills
Data-driven decision maker who focuses on process improvements and inspiring individuals to reach their full potential
Always committed to making the right decision on behalf of customers and colleagues
Energetic and passionate, with the ability to drive urgency
Proficient with Salesforce and experience with other Sales tools
