Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruiting from kickoff to close for priority roles across the business, aligned to your strengths (e.g., Technical, GTM, G&A, Risk/Compliance, Operations)
Treat recruiting like half art, half science: Find creative ways to position Rho before the strongest operators in the business; A/B test messaging; take a human-first approach
Obsess over our metrics and beating them, all the time
Partner with the Talent & People org and cross-functional partners globally to advance and absorb Rho’s talent brand and strategy
Focus on quality over quantity. We know that a lean team of A+ talent creates infinitely more value than a large team of “fine” talent
Act as an owner: your job is not to hire people—it’s to build a business
Qualification
Required
3+ years of recruiting experience, with depth in at least one domain (Technical, GTM, G&A, or regulated functions like finance, risk, compliance)
Experience operating in high-accountability environments (startups, fintech, financial services, or similarly rigorous orgs)
High ownership and accountability—you take responsibility for getting the job done
Strong knowledge of the Salt Lake City financial talent market—where to find it, how to close it
Operational excellence—you know how to run a disciplined search and coach hiring managers along the way
Clear, persuasive communication and storytelling skills
A bias for urgency, ownership, and high standards
Confidence working with sensitive roles and high-integrity functions
