Data Operations Manager
GPS Group Peer Support is seeking a Data Operations Manager to bring order, clarity, and reliability to their data management processes. The role involves cleaning, organizing, and establishing systems for data collection and reporting, ensuring consistency and accessibility across various platforms.

Responsibilities
Take inventory of all existing data sources (HubSpot, Alchemer, LMS, spreadsheets, Google Drive)
Clean and organize existing data so it is accurate, consistent, and usable
Establish clear data structures, naming conventions, and documentation
Develop and maintain SOPs for data collection, storage, updates, and access
Build simple, sustainable systems that match how staff actually work
Design and manage reliable data collection processes across programs
Ensure GPS is consistently collecting required data and meeting internal and external timelines
Serve as the internal owner responsible for knowing where data lives and how it connects across systems
Monitor data quality and address gaps or inconsistencies
Maintain organized, up-to-date datasets over time
Manage data-related funder reporting requirements and deadlines
Translate funder requests into clear internal data needs
Prepare accurate, organized reports and summaries for funders and partners
Support leadership in communicating program progress and impact using data
Reduce last-minute reporting stress by creating predictable workflows
Train staff on data tools, SOPs, and expectations
Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related questions
Support a shared internal understanding of how data is collected and used
Collaborate with program and leadership staff to align data systems with organizational priorities
Qualification
Required
Experience managing data operations in nonprofits, healthcare-adjacent organizations, public programs, or community-based settings
Demonstrated experience cleaning up and organizing messy or fragmented data systems
Experience developing SOPs and operational workflows
Comfort working across CRMs, survey tools, spreadsheets, and learning platforms
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear written communication skills, especially for non-technical and funder audiences
Ability to work independently and take ownership of data systems
Preferred
Experience with HubSpot and Alchemer strongly preferred
Location: Remote (Massachusetts or Washington familiarity strongly preferred)
