Responsibilities
Performs production record review
Has a commitment to producing quality products
Raises any quality issues or non-conformances to supervision
Receive and release raw materials based on QC testing and document review
Conducts finished goods testing
Conducts HACCP related CCP testing
Conducts Product code verification
Collects samples from the Production lines
Verify daily/weekly sanitation
All assignments require team members to follow company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices to meet customers’ expectations and help maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, and comply with all safety policies and requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
Must have ability to perform tasks in a microbiology and chemistry lab, using chemicals for testing
Must have knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices
Must have knowledge of Good Documentation practices
Must have ability to read, analyze and write reports
Must have ability to perform basic math calculations
Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and committed to quality mindset
Must work well under pressure and be highly responsive to short deadlines
Must have ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations
Having previous food manufacturing experience is required
Preferred
Having 2-3 years in an analytical role in consumer products is a plus
Being proficiency with MS programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a plus
