They are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead overall process design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, translating customer requirements into functional designs and providing ongoing engineering support.

Responsibilities

Translate customer requirements into functional system designs

Review pre-construction design and documentation

Support the sales team by assisting with technical design, estimating hours, and highlighting logistical challenges

Generate functional system descriptions and diagrams

Provide ongoing engineering support

Perform system calculations from preliminary to final design

Provide markups for plans and lead cost estimates

Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines, subconsultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work

Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope

Assist in proposal development, scopes of work, and fee schedule preparation

Mentor junior staff with technical and professional development

Review and approve final design of projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, environmental, chemical engineering or other related field

8+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment industry

5+ years in water quality analysis, treatment evaluations, process design, and regulatory compliance assessments

Demonstrated ability in biological, physical, chemical process modeling, hydraulics, and principles of wastewater treatment plant design

Ability to read and understand civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings

Ability to create piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)

Proficient with MS Office products and other standard software packages

Proficient with CAD and other design software platforms

Preferred

Master's degree preferred

Experience with Biowin a plus
