Director/ExecutiveUniversity of St. Francis is seeking an Assistant Director of Accessibility Services to coordinate and manage services for students with accessibility requests. The role involves reviewing documentation, determining accommodations, and providing academic support while promoting the visibility of accessibility resources on campus.

Responsibilities
Coordinate services for Students Accessibility
Review all documentation and requests for accommodations for self-identifying students with accessibility requests
Interpret medical documentation for accessibility requests
Determine and coordinate appropriate accommodations for each self-identified student according to federal standards
Counsel and advise students with accessibility requests
Manage and administer budget for Office of Accessibility Services
Develop institutional and community links to maximize delivery of services
Provide assistance with assistive technology and supervise proctoring for exams
Serve as resource for campus personnel in dealing with issues concerning students requesting accessibility
Provide academic support to students within ACE
Guide students to develop appropriate learning strategies
Investigate and create assistance in new ways and formats including online
Offer instruction in study-skills, test taking, reading and critical thinking to students
Serve as resource on learning strategies for students and faculty
Assist students in using ACE resources (software, reference books, and materials)
Assist with the assessment of above services
Assist with the preparation of databases and reports
Represent ACE at various events and meetings
Promote the visibility of ACE resources and services through marketing
Assists with other projects and tasks in ACE
Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement
Other related duties as assigned
