Responsibilities

Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Study and analyze trends and forecasts to inform recommended actions
Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts
Support business unit reporting requirements tied to monthly cadence
Support ad-hoc business performance reporting
Present monthly and quarterly financial program reports
Must work collaboratively day in and day out to establish favorable relationships and report

Required

Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and typically 6+ years of relevant experience
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to effectively and clearly communicate program and financial related information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software, especially Excel
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections
Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively at all organizational levels
Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring teams
Experience in process and tool improvement
Well-versed in working with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and applications
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
