Preparing a variety of the more complex legislative concepts, legislative proposals, analyzing legislation, and defining State and Federal policies to local health departments, county recorders’ offices, county clerks’ offices, and county coroners’ offices
Conducting research and analysis to maintain detailed knowledge, disseminate information, and provide training on current and new legislation and related requirements
Qualification
Required
Experience in performing complex technical analytical assignments
Ability to prepare complex legislative concepts and proposals
Experience in analyzing legislation and defining State and Federal policies
Ability to conduct research and analysis
Ability to disseminate information and provide training on legislation and related requirements
California residency prior to appointment and maintenance of California residency as a condition of employment
Completion of a State application (STD. 678) and any other relevant documents
Submission of a Supplemental Questionnaire (SQ) as part of the application process
