Responsibilities

Perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations
Responsible for moderately complex installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components
Maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings
Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques
To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce

Preferred

Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL
Ability to mentor and guide subordinates
Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pitot static equipment
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required
