Responsibilities
Provide consulting services to power plant customers, assisting them in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs, organizational enhancements, and documentation
Develop training materials using tools like the Microsoft Office suite, including lesson plans, evaluation documentation, and other supporting resources
Deliver direct instruction to power plant personnel, including operations, maintenance, and management staff, drawing on your own technical experience and education in power industry technologies (e.g., fossil fuels, renewables like geothermal or solar, combined cycle plants, and distributed control systems)
Leverage background in plant operations and maintenance to create plant-specific, customized programs that improve efficiency, safety, operational readiness, and workforce performance
Address client needs in areas like operator training, system troubleshooting, and compliance
Qualification
Required
At least 6 years in operations at power or thermal process plants
Develop training materials using tools like the Microsoft Office suite, including lesson plans, evaluation documentation, and other supporting resources
Deliver direct instruction to power plant personnel, including operations, maintenance, and management staff, drawing on your own technical experience and education in power industry technologies
Preferred
Navy Nuclear experience preferred
Training Experience (staff instructor, training division) preferred but not required
