They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2026 to assist in the design, development, and testing of opto-mechanical and electronic devices.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of individual parts and subassembly components for novel opto-mechanical/electronic devices
Assist with testing of prototypes and assembled units, including environmental testing
Assist with hands-on assembly of components using tools such as: torque wrenches, Dremel tools, file tools, and screwdrivers
Qualification
Required
You must be working toward a degree in Mechanical Engineering
You must have completed (at a minimum) your sophomore year in college
You must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above to be considered
You bring knowledge of Mechanical Fundamentals including material science and manufacturing basics
You possess strong CAD skills and experience using SolidWorks is a plus
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
You take initiative and have an eagerness to learn
