As a Diesel / Industrial Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of equipment, including trucks and forklifts.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and vehicle computer systems
Perform routine inspections, diagnostic checks, and post-repair evaluations on trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other vehicles
Maintain and service equipment, keeping detailed service records
Repair and adjust air brake systems to ensure safety and compliance
Examine and adjust safety devices and components on all vehicles
Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment
Change tires, align wheels, and perform other required vehicle services
Work on various vehicle components, including headlights, heaters, windshield wipers, belts, seats, windows, air valves, and more
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality
Document work hours, parts used, and services performed
Qualification
Required
Basic experience or knowledge in general vehicle maintenance
Experience with diesel engines and heavy truck systems is a plus
Forklift experience is an advantage
Ability to obtain a TWIC card
Valid driver's license
Pass a background check and drug screen
Computer knowledge (experience with work order systems is a plus)
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot with precision
