Responsibilities

Manage labs and technicians to assist the design, development, test, certification, and deployment of products and services
Manage all aspects of labs including test equipment, facilities, and supplies
Coordinate lab activities and engineering technicians with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Procurement
Allocate tasking and supervise technicians to build cables and test fixtures
Assist with assembly, integration, and test of prototype and production products

Required

Associate's Degree in Technology, Management, or Engineering discipline
Typically, 6+ years of progressive engineering lab experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experience
Knowledgeable in the use of various electronic systems analysis and test equipment
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals
Good interpersonal relationship skills and able to work with a wide variety of technical engineers and employees
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment

Preferred

Demonstrated responsibility to be able to maintain lab inventory of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and company-owned equipment
Ability to oversee production efforts for quick reaction products to support field and development programs
Familiarity with planning and coordinating resources for testing sensors and systems on a variety of test platforms
Exposure to safe and secure operations in the lab to adhere to local Ground & Standard Operating Procedures
Experience in managing and operating a SCIF lab in accordance with applicable DoD security requirements
Mechanical and electrical experience to assist all levels of engineering technicians
Maintain IPC certification for soldering and cable assembly
Must be able to pass and maintain DOT medical to drive company vehicles over 12,000 and tow
Ability to travel when required
