Commercial Real Estate Asset Management

CATCH Neighborhood Housing is focused on enhancing the performance of a diverse portfolio of multi-family housing and commercial spaces. The Asset Manager will oversee asset oversight, financial performance, and support real estate development projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee a multi-family real estate portfolio with a focus on maximizing occupancy and financial performance
Identify and resolve operational issues in collaboration with property managers, accountants, and external stakeholders
Conduct in-depth financial analysis and performance reporting across the portfolio
Monitor reserve accounts and manage capital needs, including Capital Needs Assessments
Conduct regular property site visits across New Hampshire
Support the underwriting and financial planning for new development projects
Maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and state housing agencies
Review year-end audits, loan agreements, and compliance documents
Analyze budgets, financials, and legal agreements to ensure operational and regulatory compliance

Required

3–5 years of experience in multi-family housing or real estate asset management
Strong financial and operational analysis skills specific to real estate
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in real estate, finance, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Willingness to travel to property sites and attend occasional evening meetings

Preferred

A BS degree in real estate, finance, business, accounting, or engineering/architecture
5+ years' experience in commercial real estate, especially with affordable housing
Familiarity with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program
Experience working with housing syndicators, investment companies, or non-profit developers
Experience managing capital planning, construction oversight, and regulatory compliance
Deep understanding of limited partnership agreements, loan structures, and regulatory documents
