Responsibilities
Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product
Ensure efficient conformance to industry standards and compliance to regulatory requirements
Devise and implement methods and procedures for auditing and evaluating the accuracy of our processes, products and systems
Ensure that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards
Ensure that documentation is compliant with requirements
Develop, apply, and maintain our quality systems and protocols necessary to ensure efficient conformance and compliance
Qualification
Required
Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
Relevant work experience may substitute for required education
Typically, 6+ years of progressive quality assurance experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experience
Direct Aviation/Aerospace operations experience
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and CMMI standards
Experience in an electronic/mechanical systems environment
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Attainment of Six Sigma Black Belt
Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence
Certified Quality Improvement Associate
Certified Quality Auditor
