Responsibilities
Gathering and organizing the information required for a complete mortgage file
Evaluation of the information to determine that it meets product requirements
Computerized tracking of all mortgage loan files
Verbal, written and face to face customer communication with regards to their mortgage file in process
Proper planning and organization to meet strict processing and closing deadlines
Preparation and delivery of loan files to outside investors or mortgage insurance companies for underwriting approval and follow up if the product requires
Calculation of mortgage closing figures, preparation of mortgage closing packages, and set up of the new loan on the software system
After closing, follow up as needed for Post-Closing, Quality Control, and customer questions
Qualification
Required
Strong customer service skills
Self-motivated and well organized
Knowledge of Word and Excel programs
Preferred
Prior experience in loans is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate
