Responsibilities
Oversees daily purchasing operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, supplies, and services
Manages vendor relationships, negotiates pricing and contracts, monitors inventory levels, and ensures purchasing compliance with company policies
Partners with operations and finance to support budget and inventory needs while driving efficiency and continuous improvement within the purchasing function
Supports process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the purchasing function
Assists with vendor performance analysis and reporting
Contributes to cross‑functional projects involving operations, finance, or inventory planning
Provides backup or support for system enhancements and documentation efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles
Experience in manufacturing, regulated, or fast‑paced environments strongly preferred
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for purchasing outcomes
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Professional communication style with vendors and internal stakeholders
Ethical decision‑making and adherence to company policies and standards
Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem solving
ERP or inventory management system support experience
Exposure to cost analysis, forecasting, or supply planning
Familiarity with nutraceutical, food, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries
Process documentation or continuous improvement experience
Prior supervisory or informal team‑lead responsibilities
