Receptionist - Pool - Seasonal (Caesars Palace LV)

They are seeking a Cabana Receptionist to manage cabana reservations, provide excellent customer service, and maintain the cleanliness of the pool area. This role requires alertness to guest needs and adherence to pool rules and regulations.
Food and Beverage
Responsibilities
Make cabana reservations and welcome guests to the pool complex
Assist with any and all customer needs; maintain cleanliness of the pool deck i.e. rafts, dirty towels and bathrooms
Upsell and book daybeds and cabanas
Retail sales i.e. raft, sundries, magazines and newspapers
Protect the glass items and unauthorized items entering the pool complex
Follow and maintain all SNHD rules and regulations
Report to pre-shift briefing in full Uniforms
Familiarize themselves with the names of their guests and requested accommodations
Be responsible for making cabana reservations and up selling amenities for the pool
Perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly needed for cleaning and stocking work
Climb ladders as needed for obtaining items located on high shelves
Remain alert to all activity occurring within their assigned section of the pool area throughout their shift
Treat customers with courtesy and respect at all times
Remain appropriately groomed as stated in the departmental guideline's appearance code
Notify the manager immediately of any problems at the pool requiring any extra ordinary attention (i.e., guest injury, guest employee conflict, etc.)
Ensure all guests follow pool rules (i.e., diving board safety, running, horseplay, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Able to carry 25-40 lbs
Able to work in excessive heat for extended periods of time
Ability to multi-task
Excellent customer service skills
Beverage Knowledge
Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly needed for cleaning and stocking work
Ability to climb ladders as needed for obtaining items located on high shelves
Remains alert to all activity occurring within their assigned section of the pool area throughout their shift
