Responsibilities
Perform Optical and Thermal Emissions Analysis
Plan and execute optical lab testing
Develop data analysis scripts
Create presentation materials for internal/external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Physics
Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented
Preferred
Pursuing a degree in engineering or a related discipline
Experience (or interest) in Optical Analysis/Testing
Experience (or interest) in Thermal Emission physics
Experience in Python or MATLAB coding
