Corporate Controller
Pacific Executive Search is seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of a public company. This pivotal role will drive financial strategy and reporting while shaping the organization's future growth and success.

Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
Manage the integration of accounting systems such as Oracle, Yardi, and Workiva to enhance operational efficiency
Develop and implement financial strategies that support organizational goals and drive profitability
Coordinate the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to inform strategic decision-making
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with ASC-742 standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support acquisition integration and other strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations, including GAAP and ASC-742
Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle, Yardi, or Workiva
Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial analysis
Exceptional leadership and team management skills
Preferred
CPA or equivalent professional certification
Experience in a public company environment
Familiarity with acquisition integration processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
