Responsibilities

Produce and negotiate customer quotations and proposals

Calculate estimated prices for potential orders by using knowledge of company prices and/or utilizing previous orders for each customer

Process customer orders

Receive purchase orders from customers and review them to ensure pricing, revision level on drawing, shipping information, and other aspects of the order are correct before giving the purchase order to the Office Assistant to be entered in IQMS

Responsible for entering Purchase Orders into IQMS system, as needed

Communicate with the customers about any discrepancies on the purchase orders, quotations, drawings, or any other document and information pertaining to that customer

Work closely with Master Scheduling department, and other departments as necessary, to follow up on the status of all orders to ensure that they are moving through the system in a timely manner

Attend daily production meetings

Ability to solve problems and find answers to questions independently through using materials, documents, databases, and previous knowledge

Perform Receptionist duties when Receptionist is out, including, but not limited to, answering phones, transferring calls, and monitoring the front entrance

Assist Receptionist with end of the year filing

Perform other related duties as assigned by management
