Responsibilities

Ensure that our incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped product fulfill all quality requirements
Visually inspecting our materials, parts, and products at different stages of production
Recording observations and making recommendations for improving processes
Inspect for structural flaws, internal defects, or missing welds
Accept, reject, or request rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems
Apply our quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection

Required

Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings
Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
Experience with finished goods inspection
Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES
Basic understanding of material flow in operations
Ability to draft work instructions and SOP's
Experience with Network+, Security+, CCNA and/or A+
Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards
