Senior SR&ED Consultant (Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering)
KPMG Canada is a leading firm that provides tax incentive services through its Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) program. The Senior SR&ED Consultant will assist clients in identifying eligible SR&ED activities, summarize these activities in technical reports, and manage client relationships while staying updated with relevant legislation.

Responsibilities
Be exposed to new and exciting technologies and state-of-the-art innovations in a range of industries with a focus on mechanical/ chemical engineering
Working with Senior Managers you will participate in and support client technical interviews and examine operations to identify SR&ED eligible projects/activities
Summarize eligible client activities in a technical report
Project Management Plan, organize and execute multiple engagements on time and within budget
Client Management Successfully develop and manage client relationships/expectations
Having an understanding of the SR&ED program and the desire to keep up to date with changes in legislation
Qualification
Required
A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
At least 2 of progressive experience within industry
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
Keen interest in staying up-to-date with cutting edge technologies and trends
Analytical thinker who can draw inferences and make unexpected connections
Highly driven, autonomous, resilient and team player with a strong work ethic
Preferred
Experience in SR&ED or other R&D related government tax incentive programs is an asset
