Responsibilities
Using skills and expertise to perform a variety of duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas
Assisting with constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems
Helping ensure systems and components meet established specifications
Qualification
Required
Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
Associate's degree in a related field of study
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals
Ability to work with standard laboratory test equipment, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power tools
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment
Preferred
Previous experience and/or certifications within the aerospace and defense industry
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with AutoCAD or other 3-D CAD software
